Fall Bass Fishing | Wind, Cold, and a Tricky Bite… Still Got It Done!

The first real day of fall bass fishing brought wind, cold, and a tricky bite — but I pushed through and managed to land 4 bass in the kayak for a total of 58.5 inches, beating my last outing. My goal was a 5-bass limit, and while I came up just short, every bite was earned on this tough day.

This video is part of my bigger journey toward hitting a 100-inch bass bag here in Washington State. Each outing gets me one step closer, and on this windy fall day I relied on a spinnerbait, chatterbait, and dropshot to put fish in the boat. Fall bass fishing in the Pacific Northwest is always a grind, but when the pieces come together it’s worth every cast.
