  1. Hey quick fishing question for you. I’ve been watching your complete guides to bass fishing videos. I live in Florida and the water is super hot. Should I always expect the seasonal transitions to be late in fall and winter and then early in spring and summer because of the hot water?

Love your videos btw, super informative.

  2. Bass are not feeding up to get fat and healthy for the winter. They are opportunistic and are just taking advantage of an easy meal presented to them with schools of baitfish spawning in these creek channels. In addition, they do not have the ability to fatten up for winter like warm blooded animals and store unsaturated fat. This is why you will never see a fat layer on a bass like you would a deer or other warm-blooded animals that needs insulation and fuel reserves to get them by for the winter.

  3. Learned sooo much more from this than any catfish video! Thanks for the break down, makes sense why 3 weeks ago I stopped getting bites at all. I've found the bait fish no problem but where's the cats

  4. Buddy you really explained that well. Ive seen others try and explain the turnover and tried to sound smart and over explained things that doesnt matter to us fisherman. Cudos for keeping it simple

  5. I would assume that its not just the bass that are dealing with the depleted oxygen and the other fish (although some fish could definitely be more tolerant of lower o2 levels) are doing the same thing and heading to higher o2 and warmer waters.

  6. Great video, did you ever do a winter one? I look on your channel but didn’t see one, would love to see a winter one also like you did the fall

  7. Where I live in California there's a local reservoir that I fish at that has a channel running into a cove. Iv been able to catch a lot of bluegill and crappy but can't seem to get a bite on bass. Iv used texas rigs, and swimbaits but know bites. I would say at it deepest spot is maybe 8 ft. Any advice would be much appreciated
