  1. Does anyone fish hard plastics anymore for bass? Serious question. Every YouTube video I see that specialize in largemouth, they're always using soft plastic, no matter conditions, time of day ect. Occasionally someone will throw a frog in the morning with cover because, well that's what's ya do. But I almost never see anyone throwing jerk baits, crank baits or blade spinners anymore. It's all Texas rig, whacky rig, Ned rig and swim baits.

  2. Really wish you could lay those crappie on a board so we know what "a stud" is in your vocabulary.
What's the Tsxas State record? How do yours compare?

Not picking on you. Seriously. I just wanna know.

For example, DMFD calls a 150lb barr hog a stud. Yawt Yawt calls 300lbs a stud hog. But, I know for a.fact that the State Record hog in SC is 808lbs.

So what is a stud/slab crappie. You're in TX and everything is supposed to be bigger. Whatcha got for a stud crappie? And why don't you eat them?

  3. Just got some tackle in the mail. Curado BFS hg and a new rod from a company called KINGDOM tackle.
6 lb flouro. Should be sweet.
I wish I could have fished with you for the Crappies and those GIANT sunfish in Nevada?
I don’t need giant striped bass just some local slabs sure would make me feel happy.
Hope all is well out your way. I’m stuck up here in Jersey. Jersey is a nice place to live if you’re a Bullet 🦉🎣👍🏻

  4. Thumbs up – nice job !!
I wish more people would know, (or maybe not).
After a big rain, head to them discharges !!
All the big fish will be there ambushing.
And nice job releasing all them big pre-spawn crappie !!

  5. Ty. Love your vids. 2 suggestions: Large title at top bocks video and your camera seems just a tad low. I am always looking at the top to see, but doesn't quite reach. Keep it up!

  6. I always found flooding to be good for trout as well…trout tend to be skittish, and the extra water movement is louder, milkier, and opens up small sections are tough to fish. You can walk right up to the banks and the fish dont even know you are there cause they can no longer see or "hear" you.
