I bought one of his signature Rock Hopper bass plugger a few years ago and snapped it today.Bugger.
My tight lines are always snags.

Does anyone where about in Cornwall he was? I’ve got a couple of holidays in and around New Polzeath which seems to better known for surfing than fishing or am I wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Love Ed's videos but what I would like to know is does he ever fish BAIT for big bass – by which I mean 5 – 10 lbs?
Size doesn’t matter..big n small we love um all..but consistently talks about catching a bigger one!!🤣

I have plugged ilfracombe rocks for two years on the trot and never caught 1 bass, fast retrieve slow retrieve iv tried it all 200£ on lures nothing……

It looks to me to be the Rapala J11 or J13 blue and Silver? Ed would probably agree with me that it is one of the classic plugs. I took ten bass in twenty minuets form the shore at Clovelly ion North Devon. They are good off wrecks taking bass for the Ninrod SA to fourteen pounds and another good lure to have is the Rapala in black and silver as this is has sometimes got the edge. Hope this is of some use to you.
