What's your favorite trick to use when the weather gets hot?
Great tips man, thanks for sharing.
I'm pretty sure the bargain bin at Walmart are what's produced when the plastics companies are doing color changes. There's no real label on them as to color or type of bait because the bait companies consider them crap. They sell them at the bargain price at Walmart because it's better for their bottom line than just scrapping them. You really can find some cool colors that will definitly work in there though. It's worth taking the time to look to see what you can find.
the shelf tip is next level
Good class thanks

I throw a different color either larger or more weight to get a further cast or more weight smaller bait let the motion of the ocean move the bait. Fish slower. Mostly can even use same baits just slow way down. Lot of times an action bait I donโt use. But Iโve used proper colored jerk baits and long count a minuet or more and 1 light twitch. And a Carolina rig does good with a 4 in river blue fleck purple worm and sometimes dip the curly tail in chartreuse paint. I also dis in the rock wall bank or ledge underwater where the dis can stay deep and come up and feed. I also find fish on a single stickup in the middle of a cove or bay. But I make long casts to cover. Flipping tumbleweeds is good too they stay cool in shade and hidden.
Lowbrow Iโm using a Waco rig with a special sauce.. Last weekend I had people asked me what I was using lol because they wasnโt catching anything and Iโve done got 4 in less than an hour.. ๐ช๐ป
The couple ponds I do fish I try to use something no one else is and worms I like cinnamon brown or similar night crawler looking ones because bass in those are pressured to a point they're going for live bait like that I have 3 inch I wacky rig for that and the one that they're more inclined for worms I have no trouble catching
I fish mostly in the evenings after it cools off a bit. Cold beer helps.
I don't understand why guys avoid the vegetation. That's always where the best fish are. But most anglers I know refuse to fish it.
I went out last weekend and it was just so crowded. Not many fishermen but a lot of swimmers and skiers and such. That was probably worse than if it was mostly fishermen.
Small underspin with a curly grub gets bites when it gets hot.
Everyone is fishing bluegill and shad baits around me. I tried a junebug worm and got a few bites so I know changing colors some can really help.
I don't fish much when it gets really hot! But thanks for some tips and information that have me thinking about trying if I do go! Have a great weekend buddy!
I never thought about looking at the empty bait spots at the store. Genius!
