East Texas Bass Fishing on Sam Rayburn

Mickey and I are fishing the lower end of Sam Rayburn on full moon conditions. We got out there pretty early before the sun came up.

We fished shallow grass with frogs, wacky worms and 10.5″worms.

The better fish were dirt shallow. I got off the water before it got really hot but i believe if i would have stayed and fished during the heat of the day that frog bite would have got really good.

Usually on full moon conditions they’ll bite really good before the sun comes up then it slows down until later in the day.
