If there is a favorite time of the year to fish it would be the spring for me. In March I use the crank bait almost exclusively, and why not? When the bass are moving up during pre-spawn they are targeting small bluegill and other baitfish, and the crank bait just gets them to bite! Be sure to watch until the end, you will not want to miss it!
