EARLY SPRING BASS FISHING with my DAD | Old Hickory Lake

Went out fishing with my Dad on a cool and windy early Spring day. The wind was howling at times making it difficult to place the casts and sometimes uncomfortable since the forecast was for a much warmer day without mention of wind gusts. That’s Tennessee and typical spring weather though, forecast for 70 and sunny and you get 45 and rain showers. I’m definitely ready for the temperatures of spring to settle in and have some nicer days on the water without wind gusts and choppy lake conditions. Not much longer!!! Fishing was not on fire today. Caught a big 10lb drum, a small dink bass and then a decent 3lb bass. Outside of that not much was happening. We did try to drag for catfish after lunch but the wind was just making it impossible to drag the route we wanted to, and spot locking was difficult due to wind shifts. So we packed up after 20 minutes trying and headed out. Still a good day on the water and in nature.
