Had a huge blowup on a SPRO-30 rat bait back in a creek on Melton Hill last week. Came out of the water, got good look at it. Big belly looked like a female. Never got a hook in her mouth. Came back without the tail so think that’s what it had ahold of. Fish were pushing small minnows all through that creek, saw the schools on 2D sonar and could also see their dark spots under the water. Caught a 14” crappie and two buck bass on a #5 ShadRap out of those schools.

Nothing like sun rise bass fishing on a calm lake. Food for the soul!
