EARLY FALL BASS FISHING IN IOWA

In today’s video I ventured to an Iowa lake with the hopes of catching some bass that have been taking advantage of some cooler nights. The water temperatures are down in the low 70’s and as a result the bass are putting on the feed bag! The chatterbait once again did the heavy lifting today, catching every single fish on the trip. A few of the nicer fish were on their own near some rocks and weeds, but a larger population (of mostly smaller fish but some larger ones are mixed in too) could also be found on the shoreline weeds. Even though the weeds are brownish-green in color, they are still holding fish.

Watch as some largemouth SMACK the chatterbait on this beautiful fall day!
