  1. This is probably one of my favorite top ten lures. Caught so many bass and northern pike with this lure as it looks like a real fish. This is a must in every Boundary Waters Trip.

  2. Generally I'm a shore fisherman. I don't have room for a portable inflatable raft. I use walking bait or a shallow jerkbait because I can only cast so far. I still need work with my casting because I couldn't go fishing for many years for personal reasons. I just got back to fishing my 2nd year back to fishing relearning what I forgot an learning more as I go

  3. What would be your take on using a wobble head football jig to fish a swimminโ€™ super fluke on the bottom? Iโ€™m hoping to give a little different presentation on a small heavily fished county lake in TN. Thanks for any info.

  4. Biggest mistake using topwaters is using braid…ZERO stretch w/ trebles…will NEVER be a good scenario…sure, u will still catch plenty. However, u will lose plenty, too…that goes with any treble bait..that's also the reason people say "change out the hooks"..there's nothing wrong with alot of stock hooks…if they are bending, I'd be willing to bet braid is being used…my 2 cents…Mono will always be king with trebles

  5. Deep diving crank saved my butt last sunday… I was looking at a skunk for the day when I decided to try out a new rapala I bought the week prior..

That baby was worth every penny, especially when my fishing buddy made the bet of whoever catches the next fish gets a free lunch…

    Burger King never tasted so good… ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ

Any chance you got my message a few days ago? I wanted to know if you could recommend a book on the basic info on bass?
Like what they can/cannot see? Or more than โ€œbass are
    predators โ€œ

  7. I think it's funny when I hear some YouTubers say that when you're up north you want to use smaller baits cuz the bass aren't as big. In Washington where I live the average bass like catches three to four pounds. Sure there are smaller bass but if you know what you're doing and you're okay bass angler it's threes and fours all day long. There are about five lakes that are within an hour from where I live and every single one of them has largemouth 7 lb and heavier. Northern Idaho maybe even better than Washington there are giant largemouth spots and smallmouth spots there. And if you look at State records Washington and Idaho are in like the top 10 for biggest bass.

  8. When it comes to topwater fishing I think wind and cloud cover play a big part in what bait Iโ€™m going to throw as well as cover . More chop and clouds a plopper is going on , calm with no clouds a walking bait . Heavy cover is always getting a frog ( and almost always black ) early morning or evening a wakebait is money . Great video as always with solid advice for all skill levels

  9. Hey Tyler, what are some colors you would use to fish black coffee water? I'm south Georgia and the water is straight foldgers coffee. I've had some luck with green pumpkin.

  10. Hey Tyler I got a video idea for you if you wouldn't mind doing? You may already have one up that I didn't see. Anyways so I'm getting a bass boat tomorrow from my uncle for free but it has no electronics on it. Where do I start?

  11. Hey man just caught a 5 pounder yesterday using your pink wacky rig suggestion. Swallowed the hook and all. I get all of my REAL tips from you. Thanks and God bless man.

  12. Fishing has been tuff the past few days in central FL…The month of MAY was awesome I got a #10 on tape and measurements for a mount and been wearing them out with a swim jig out deep..Past few days nothing..wonder if it is the moon?? Basically no moon Last few days
