Winter Fishing can be difficult. Everything is COLD! Water, Air, Fish & Us the Angler! Lol Ditch Fishing is a tried and true winter tactic! Usually it’s a slow n low retrieval with a small/medium swim bait of your choice!
In this video that was not the case! These Bass were so focused on bait balls that to generate a bite I had to basically wiggle the bait just off the bottom near the bait ball.
Barometric pressure affects all creatures. It will typically cause bait and Bass to hug the bottom.
Ditch’s aren’t always the middle of a cove etc. The Bluff wall in this video has a ditch that runs the bottom of it. It’s 5-10ft deeper than surrounding area. Probably an old creek channel. Bait and Bass were in the bottom of it.
