I had a tough practice on Lake Seminole. I figured the extra time would give me the chance to put together a solid game plan, and that did NOT happen. Knowing the result of this tournament now, I realize how often we can be our own worst critics. This time on the water was a reminder to trust my instincts and fish the way I know best. Fishing has a way of making you feel defeated fast, and learning to reset mentally is just as important as any technique.
