Day Full Fishing Chores – BIG MOUTH BASS & PICKEREL – Wind, Wood, & Beers – Good fishing is a day full of chores. So much to do on land, and on water while fishing. Dang pesky beaver or two been doing quick work on a tree for some time, and some time going to come down, and some time came now that I better move the old can to another spot. Super dang duper windy out. Really gusty. Best bet would be to move the boat and do some bank or wade fishing. Ha!!! Not us. Decided to take the old Jon out on the water. Did some fishing, mapping, exploring and of course fishing. Even made some time for a few rounds of beers. Last round was going be a early spring honey hole that produced a beautiful largemouth bass and pickerel an hour before light. Both on the #11 Rapala Minnow. Now that’s fishing!

Can you do self introduction
Hi Jerry, Great day in the boat. Take care, Mickey
I make sure to use my thing madoodles more often now, i don’t like pulling hooks from my hand
Nice to see you back up here Jerry! Those beavers cost people alot of boats lol productive indeed.
Fish can hear that wind driven water on the hull.
Descent ? pretty big, Jimmy Houston would be proud of you if you kissed it before returning to it's habitat.
Productive day in many ways.
Used the same model rapala but in fire tiger to catch my first largemouth bass and pickerel in Massachusetts on Monday evening at my local pond. I’ve actually used that lure to catch striped bass up to 28 inches too. Versatile lure. One downside that I’ve noticed with it is that it is sometimes hard to cast far.
Good job be careful of those hooks
