People are weird Randy. They'd rather complain about a video they didn't like rather than just turn on a different video. Maybe at some point you can get a couple tripods and a couple gopros or something and make some different types of videos if you want. Even just like your old video where you break down a section of riprap. At some point, you will probably want to do some of that because you'd end up with a million subs pretty damn fast.

This is so funny, for the guys who don't like Randy, he got you again. I think these guys check his channel daily to see if he's posted a video that's gonna piss em off. And he did it again,with the title. And he gets their view. He's really smart at how he does this. If you don't like him,don't give him your time. Hell Randy i still dont have a computer,probably never will.
It's honestly not too difficult. To solve your issues just get some of the enduro batteries they do better in extreme temps and to solve the editing issue use a program like imovie or windows movie maker its bare bones and easy to use

I know exactly what you are talking about. In college, I printed on lined paper my term paper and learned how to use a typewriter. My granddaughter showed me how to use my cell phone and still does. I watched you on my computer now but when it shuts down, I am yelling help from our son. Oh well. Keep up the videos.

It was good to see you on the water. If you combined your knowledge with a high production video you would get more views than the guys who have the high production videos but lack the knowledge that you have. Although, a lot of those high production videos seem like Tackle Warehouse infomercials. Especially with some of the products they endorse. It makes me think Tackle Warehouse gives them a list of product the need to clear out and then they do a video to move it for them.
Go Pros are cheap and easy. But you don’t need one. Get a Ram Mount for your phone and point it at the bow. You can get great video as long as you have enough phone storage to handle it. The videos will end up looking pretty good with an iPhone. It’s a great camera.
All I hear is excuses.

If you’re not prepared to invest in the necessary equipment to make on the water videos where you are able to provide real instructional value then you probably don’t need to be making them.
Jesus, get a GoPro. This far in there should be more than just a phone.
They have stands and poles and even chest mounts. Maybe its too much technology for you. You should go back to a flip phone or better yet just stick to a landline with a rotary phone

I've seen comments (probably before you had time to get to them and nuke 'em) where the posters main point was from the position of "You want a lot of viewers, but your too cheap to get adequate equipment to bring quality filming tech to the table." What would be your response to those people?
I personally don't care as I'm in it for the information. In fact, a lot of the "on the water" fishing videos (at least in terms of cinematic quality) suck and many of them DO have the equipment to produce quality vids. The kid you pimped awhile back has done some decent on the water vids of late. Particularly the way he sets up his FFS videos. I don't know what equipment he uses, but I'd think it would be at the lower end of the quality spectrum as he is sort of new to the whole social media/YT thing. Of course, Milliken is great at it, but he's been doing it a long time, he has a great on-screen personality, is intelligent, AND he can afford the best equipment and to have Cole with him almost all the time.

Randy, I didnt see the on the water video, but I would love to see you using a couple of your favorite techniques ( like your jig ) and see you catching fish, and I know how time consuming that can be, but there are many of us who learn from watching videos like that and I think you alienate people when you call them crybabies 😢. I appreciate your channel and I don’t like when other channels use you or your name as a negative reference or response ( like “Murphy’s” Law )… I hope I’m making sense to you. I’m definitely a supporter and I still want to learn all I can. I’m 75 years old and I fish in 2 clubs in the Raleigh NC area ( about 8 lakes ). A little background 😜🍀🎣🍀👍
Why dont you get a cell phone neck holder? it loops around your neck and holds your phone so that way your hands are free theyre cheap and work great

I don’t know how hard it is to put up a $30 tripod, that holds your cell phone while you’re trolling. To call your viewers a bunch of crybabies, that are questioning you saying it’s an on the water video, 4:16 when it literally was a boat ride at best.
you get a phone stand and it will solve your issues filming but that is your call
I turn 65 at the end of March and my wife bought me a GoPro camera 2 years ago I still don't know how to use it I completely identify with your Randy oh well like you say they can find entertainment somewhere else I guess at least you're going to give him the facts
