Culvert Bass Fishing with Live Threadfin Shad

In this video, I’m tossing live Threadfin Shad at culverts along one of my favorite cold water rivers. These spots can be productive when bass start moving around, especially as they head upstream.

Earlier in the season I was finding them congregated around trees deeper in some of the creeks, but they had moved on from those areas. Bass often don’t stay in one place for long, and they really seem to respond well to live threadfin shad.

If tournaments allowed live bait, I’d like my chances! Come along as I target these fish around the culverts.
