CRIPPLED BASS RAIDER {Bass Fishing With Dead Batteries in Wind and Rain} Pelican Bass Raider 10e

Today started out to be a great day out on the water to fish for largemouth bass. I have perfect conditions, clouds, wind and I was the only boat out on the water. But what I couldn’t predict was my batteries completely dyeing on me. I threw the Keitech Swimbait (swim impact fat), buzzbait, lipless crankbait, squarebill crankbait, whopper plopper, senko, googan baits krackin craw and several other baits to try to get on the fish as quick as possible. I still managed to hobble around the lake and caught a nice number off bass amidst some other tragic events. Enjoy the video.

  1. Hey, you from Panama Canal Zone? I'm from the CZ and haven't anyone say I yi yi in many years, Hey great video, I just bought one from Academy sports yesterday and am rigging it up today.
have a great day my friend.

  2. Never had a battery die on the water – yet anyhow

I left the battery in the garage one time – did what you did – limped along as best we could and caught some fish

Another time I got to the lake and the trolling motor prop was broken – it was one of those unpredictable fall days when the fish were going crazy. I limped along (again) with 1/2 a prop. If I could've gotten around I would probably have caught 3 or 4 state records!

Of course, I've heard some fisherman exaggerate – not sure I agree – but that's what I heard anyhow

  3. Keeping it real… I like that… Sometimes when you are out fishing you run into problems. I'm glad you show us all the good and the not so good. Make do and keep it moving. Glad to see you still use the BR10E. Thanks for the video!!!

  4. Hey bass brother can you show something on a fish finder I have a lowrance hook 2 with broadband sounder (sonar) it shows fish under the boat but I hear it shows the same things even it the fish have passed is that true?
    Thanks

  5. Nice video! Been there, done that on the batteries. We were in a 17' Bayliner when everything stopped (motor and trolling motor batteries) and had to use one oar and a water ski to row several miles. It was an evening I won't soon forget (regardless of how hard I try 🤣). Glad yours got you back and you still managed to fish – sign of a real trooper 😎
