Put a little cent on it , the fish will hold on a bit longer…
l like your bait holder where can l get one thanks
Greetings from Oregon. This is the first time I ever heard you say your going to sell some of the fish you catch like halibut. I can almost guarantee you that fish will be sold immediately. Halibut is one of the best tasting fish in the ocean. Let us know how you do how much $ per pound.
Fun video Adam. A metal bait threader seems easier than inserting a straw.
kewl vid, is that an aircraft carrier in the background at the end of vid?
We were at arw and saw guys off rocks with cast nets picking up a bunch of anchovies and smelt on just a few casts…
Thx for saying the name fisherman Wilson I subscribed. Years ago I used to fish the delta and was In a bass club and did small club tournaments. I sure do miss the delta. Was raised in Bay Area and fished all over ocean& bay & lakes and worked on party boats . Tight lines 🎣👍🏻
What type of kayak are you using ??
So basically it's a linethrough swimbait, never thought of that for Ocean fishing.
I used to make my own swimbaits with my cousin like 10 years ago. We sculpted all of the forms, molded them out of silicone, and bought bulk lure plastic and custom colors. We made some really unique dope baits specifically for harbor fishing in socal. It was super satisfying, sculpting something by hand, and then catching a fish with it.
Adam, what rod holder are u using? I'm trying to find one for halibut trolling.
Also, it would be great if y can put the info of ur gear onto your own website.
Another quality video!
Hey Adam, you should try some Bucktails bud, for halibut , great video bud 👍
Good morning Adam. Does your commercial license raise your bag limits? BTW I enjoy your videos!
SWEET rig! Extremely innovative! <:)////><
I would think a rig like that trolled behind a flasher would work well on The Great Lakes (where I live) for Trout, Salmon, etc. I may give it a shot.
That’s what you call one last cast. Get 20-30 of them before you go home😂
Adam, you've shared so many great fishing tips that I am super excited for my next trip to the Pacific Coast.
I wanted to share a discovery I made a few years back. I always carry a tube of Carmex with me when I'm out in the woods fishing or hunting. Any time I get a small cut or scrape, I squeeze out a bit of the salve to cover the wound, it protects the wound and cuts healing time in half.
Keep up the pursuit!
Robert
Lol lol lol new lol
Nice plague on your wall…killing it!
The Austin Wilson Special!!
Great line thru!
…’and we’re fishing again, that’s a wonderful thing ‘
You had good production from the Googan Squad Scout lure. Reference your video 2 years ago artificial out-fishes bait. Why not try that again. it worked well.
How much does it cost to by your halibut?
Small brass tubing can be had at your local hardware store, it's what I use when trolling swimbaits, pierces the body very easily. Nice to see my hometown in your vid!
You the man thanks for the shoutout
If you cut the end of the straw at an angle, to make a beveled point ( like a hypodermic needle), it would be easier to pierce through the bait piece. Just a thought.
