What time of year was the top water portion of the video?
Lucas I’ve been on the Cullman of the lake fishing a flat when the 3 and 4lb spots were busting shad, and the stripes are mixed in with them. I’ll be wanting the big spots and those 12 to 25lb stripe get it every time. They are fun, but I’d much rather have the big spots. It saves my bait a bit longer. I can imagine what yours looked like at the end of the day.

Although you're a bit cheesey (which could be your actual personality), I think it's pretty cool that you didn't fall into the fast and the furious group. You came back to bama and just kinda live like a real guy. Also pretty neat that you're bringing attention to Smith Lake. I've lived in Cullman County my whole life and Smith has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. You ever want to sink a hook, man, I'm game.

My grandpa said we were crazy for buying a lake house at Smith Lake because he believes there are no fish in there but we somehow manage to catch 30+ fish every weekend and Friday night I landed a 20lb stripe with 4lb line and a crappie jig off our dock! Love Smith Lake so much! Can’t wait to be back on the lake this weekend!

Good stuff Brother!!! I used to fish tournaments in NC for years! Won a few pro tournaments on the team trail there. Moved to Texas recently and live near lake fork now so I’m hoping I’ll get a chance to fish it soon. Keep chunking and winding Brother!!
