Cowan Lake Fall Bass Fishing on Hobie Compass with Newport NK180 Motor

With the impending lowering of Cowan Lake this fall for spillway repair, I spent this beautiful early fall day taking full advantage of borrowing the Newport motor to cruise lake remembering all the days I spent there learning to kayak fish during the COVID era.

I also caught 2 largemouth bass and 1 keeper stick. 🤣

Recently I’ve been including in these videos some tips and tricks that I’ve picked up along the way that hopefully will help someone else. I’m very far from an expert in fishing or kayaks but I’ve spent a lot of time working on both these past 10 years and have collected a little worthwhile knowledge.
