I’m going to make sure I use my go pro the rest of the year when fishing! Sup Manny. I been fishing topwaters and the whopper plopper specifically for about 3 years. If you want to get more hooksets, you need a long, flexible pole. I use a 9-6 shimano scimitar. What that does is provide the bend and give the fish needs to get the lure before it gets pulled away by your retrieve and reflexive reaction. I fish the columbia also, from portland to Rufus. Hope i see ya out there some day
