COLD Fall FISHING Out of the Kayak – River BASS FISHING

In this bass fishing video, we took the Native Watercraft Slayer Max 10 (kayak) back to the Des Plaines river here in Illinois. The bite was tough but we managed to catch two largemouth bass. Bass fishing right now is becoming a bit tougher due to the change in temperatures, including drop in water temperature. Nevertheless, we grinded this one out, and still managed to catch a few largemouth bass. The key to some success today was flipping a dirty jigs flipping jig in a blue color pattern, along with a Geecrack Bellows Craw in green pumpkin. We did also throw spinnerbaits, chatter baits, and even an underspin but success came with a flipping in the cold weather.

Given the weather, we likely will continue to kayak bass fish out of the Native Watercraft Slayer Max 10 kayak up until December. Temperatures here in Illinois were in the mid 40’s, which is absolutely welcomed. Check out the two largemouth bass caught during today’s fishing adventure using the Geecrack Bellows Craw and flipping jig!
