Clearlake Defeat: Big Bass Power Hour

I spent months preparing for this tournament—rigging my kayak to perfection, fine-tuning my gear, and making sure my trailer was ready for the long haul from San Diego. I had my strategy dialed in, my confidence high, and my sights set on big bass. But Clearlake had other plans. Brutal weather and tough conditions turned what should have been an epic showdown into a humbling experience. This one stung, but I’m not done. I might be heading home with my tail between my legs, but you can bet I’ll be back to take on Clearlake again.
