Clear Lake Swimbait Fishing with @OliverNgy & Paul Arias Big Bass Dreams Personal Training Session

Education and Entertainment. Our team is excited to bring to you a series focused on the technical aspects of how we target these fish across the country and breakdown the gear we utilize daily.

Today Oliver takes us on the boat along as he goes through a Big Bass Dreams personal training session with our friend Paul Arias Jr. The focus is fishing swimbaits and big baits on Clear Lake, a world famous bass fishery that at this time was fishing very tough. The guys stumble on a bite that they built on and found some success fishing the Defiant Fishing 210 swimbait in slow and fast sink models. Oliver also connects with fish on the Gancraft Jointed Claw 230.

Take an in depth look at real live footage as always shot on PUBLIC water.

  1. I've been fishing the Defiant 210 and 247 for several years now and I love it, but question, have you ever had one that doesn't swim true, tilts to one side with the stock jig hooks. I got a few from modern outdoor and one of em wants to tilt on the retrieve. Im very familiar with the bait and understand how to rig it and retrieve it.

  2. glad to hear from a western fisherman. We are out of Arizona and our water is 50 degrees as well, found some shallower water up to 56 degrees. California lakes are on our bucket list awesome video fun to watch. thanks for the tips
