  1. Great vid!!! Guadalupe is a Spanish word clear back to Spain with traces well over 500 years. How you pronounced it those seven years was correct like someone else noted! I lived in Spain for two years so I can verify that pronunciation for sure!

  2. About 20 years ago I stopped at a Scheels store in ND and they had a boat-load of Storm lures on clearance for $1.00 and $1.50 each. Got a big supply of original warts and thundersticks that I am still working on today, I just don’t lose them that often. My favorite is the Pee Wee wart because I fish with light tackle all the time. Original baby and junior thundersticks are awesome too! Is that a Bantam reel you’re using?

  3. Good thing about the old school reels and high end new schools ones is they're metal so you can take a torch and burn the line off them whenever the birds nests are horrible

  4. The old school lures did the job. Nice fish.

BTW, Creme still sells the original Lit’l Fishie in 3 sizes and in 18 colors. I wish they still made the Lit’l Fishie Shad. That is quite realistic and has caught me numerous bass. In fact they still make several of their old school designs like their pre-rigged baits, the Scoundrel and they even brought back the Tube Worm! They also still sell many Burke branded bugs, creatures and frogs. The Scoundrel is made in 45 colors and in some old school colors like yellow, white, bubblegum and methiolate and in several fire tail and dot pattern color combinations. Is there anyone else making their worms in yellow/black dot or black/white dot colors these days? Talk about old school.
I’d say they’re as old school as anyone these days and one of the few original family owned old school bait companies left.

If anyone is so interested, here’s a link to their current catalog:

  5. Funny that you’re wearing a Branson Mo shirt because Warts catch big bass year round on Table Rock Lake lol
It’s my home lake and everyone has a wart tied on. The earth tone colors in a craw pattern are killers.
Thanks for another great video !

  6. You can't beat that old school wobble those crankbaits have… i still have all of my Dad's Plano tackle boxes with all the good old baits from jitterbugs to dalton specials etc etc etc and all of his AbuGarcia rod and reel combos mostly pistol grips i enjoy using all of his tackle and equipment it makes me think he's with me ya'll enjoy your pieces of American fishing history i think throwing the older baits at these fish makes them strike because they haven't seen them for a long time if at all
