Of course you would like the Mega Bass,but the old Pop R is still the best and heck of alot cheaper.
You stated that one of the secrets to fishing these is to file down the lower lip.Why hasn’t the manufactures taken this advice from tournament professionals that do this and made adjustments?
All of the Conroe pros would buy them up at tackle stores. Rebel had stopped making them and when Zell Rowland, and Rick Clunn, and other east Texas guys let it out. Rebel started making them again! I love poppers, and also the old chug bug! I file the bottom lips and they jump and look like a fleeing baitfish!
I have caught some of my biggest bass on the rebel pop-r. May- September.
