  1. After the Fenwick for smaller crankbaits you held up a fast action med heavy for larger crankbaits. Looked like a Fenwick also, but you didn't mention the brand.
    Great vid, very informative.

  2. What size rod and action would you recommend for spinnerbaits, jigs, lipless crankbaits, and squarebills crankbaits?

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking at the Powell Diesel line.

  3. I'm a little new to bass fishing I'm using a Abu Garcia c3 but my rod doesn't feel right its a 6'6 rod medium action it doesn't have a big handle and doesn't give me enough rom for my hands for a good cast any recommendations would be helpful and appreciated

  4. Do you know of any rods that are smaller than 7 ft. because im a small guy and the rods seem a bit big for my size. If you have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

  5. hey, i am looking into getting a new spinning reel and rod. Right now i am using baitcaster with a 6'6 medium  one piece rod. What brands would you recommend for both rod and reel?

  6. I agree with the rod being more important but I think that the reel is also essential if you've got a cheapo reel (not that u do) u could have the best rod on the market but if you're drag breaks/fails or something then you're screwed lol I think they r both important basically but the rod being slightly more important.

  7. I'm a big time fly fisher! For just about every species. I'm going to my cousins and was gonna bring my fly gear and a spin rod to mess around with when I'm not feeling like fly fishing ! I have a medium action rod but it feels too stiff and my light action feels way too sensitive! The medium would be a better choice since there is a lot of vegetation and chain pickerel also but I want to enjoy fighting the fish not just hauling it in ! So you think a medium- light would be a good rod for just messing around for different baits?

  8. Do you have any use for a slower reel 5:1 ? For cranking or do you think the 6 is a good all round reel? I want to use my med heavy cranking rod for deep cranks and lipless cranks, but I have a slower reel on it now for larger 15-20 ft divers. Thx

  9. good stuff man.  i haven't tried any of the endurance series rods but that's simply cause i don't like the purple haha.  but i do have a couple of the diesel and max series.

  10. I totally agree that rod is paramount.  Reels are awesome but seem to be more of a luxury item past a certain point.  The right action, feel, and sensitivity is directly related to feeling bites and setting hooks.  It doesn't get more important than that!

    Great video!

  11. So i mentioned stationary reels One time. What i meant was a spinning reel. Didnt know you guys were calling it that. The more you know. I got 4 rods, 3 spinning ones and One baitcast. The spinning rods are necessary because i use small baits for perch.
