The video today takes place on Cherokee lake in late March. The pre spawn is in full gear and bass are on the move making their way from their winter hang out to spawning areas. The key today was targeting staging areas that bass will stop at along their move to spawning areas. Key staging areas include secondary points and creek channel swing rock banks located in the first third of a creek or spawning cove. It is also important to remember that all bass do not move into creeks or coves to spawn and instead choose to spawn in pockets out on the main lake.
