Snapping turtles are actually super good for the ecosystem. Without them all the dead fish would rot in the water also that heavier swimbait would make it good in fast current like i fish.

Could I fish the square bill version of this on a Shimano Nasci 2500 spinning reel using 6/lb monofilament? Not comfortable in tying my knots yet… I have P-Line 15/lb high vis green braid which I plan to use with fluorocarbon leader (maybe 8/lb matches 15/lb braid?) for more versatility between topwater or bottom water when it’s hot
It’s just like any other bait you have to master it and after that it’s on bass crashing fun. I was kinda hesitant on buying one to but after I learned how to fish it I was hook they work good. But after a while bass rip those baits up especially the paint job or whatever it is. I do know that the band in the middle is the stuff they make bulletproof vest from so it’s real tuff I never had one break on me not yet anyway. The hooks aren’t that bad if the bass inhales the bait completely but a lip hook they bend out or break. And as for the turtle 🐢 probably laying eggs or possibly dying it’s huge tho. Great video

I have one of these but slimmer from Cabela's. Figured I'd give it a shot while the catfish poles are sitting. I noticed that you have to reel it in fast in order for it to swim properly as well. Looks like a real bluegill when it swims but yea, it drops fast if you let it sit. Mine tends to turn belly up a little bit when I add a lil jerk action to it. I know exactly what you mean by it looking dead. Thought I might be fishing it wrong but I guess not. This video just clarified that up for me. Thanks! Keep the videos coming. You got a new sub.
Why do they just bash and bash before you even use the bait. like if someone's paying you to shit on it I know it's not the best but c'mon just use it.
