Chasing BIG BASS at Lake of the Ozarks! | Big Bass 250 Kayak Tournament

We headed out to fish the Big Bass 250, hoping to put together a great day on the water! It turned out to be a day of LOTS of small fish, but we managed to find a few better ones along the way.

The morning started off with some exciting topwater action throwing the Whopper Plopper, catching fish early and getting things going. As the day progressed, we switched things up and went to a Drop Shot with a Robo Worm, which helped us put some better fish in the boat later in the day.

Fishing tournaments always bring their challenges, and you never know what the day will hold. I put the entire day in God’s hands, trusted the process, and enjoyed every minute on the water.

It wasn’t necessarily the day we hoped for, but that’s fishing! You just keep grinding, keep learning, and make the most of every opportunity.
