Charles Strikes Again How to Bass Fish Match The Hatch Throw the Jig

Charles almost takes me out on the first cast… Then he proceeds to catch the fish of the day by matching the hatch…
after catching a bass on jerkbaits on of them that Charles caught still had a very bright orange crawdad still in it’s mouth… so we decided to Match the Hatch.. Charles picked a very big and bright orange and brown jig..
Well after fishing it for a while and not getting any bites he almost put it down… then right when we decided to switch to a different spot Bam… although not a giant the fish of the day hits that jig… i caught a few that came close to the Bass of the day but honestly everything else we tried today only managed dinks… there just wasn’t a big fish bite going…
So even though it was only one fish it was well worth giving it a shot and trying to Match the Hatch paid off…
