I live in that area only on a farm and I farm a lot but my uncle and cousins have a lake house down in Lake of the Ozarks, but I do like lake Bloomington a lot to fish in

Keepers are tough to come by in this lake. Are there any deep off shore rock piles or structures? I have almost no experience in this but I've noticed that Milliken always goes straight to the deep offshore spots on hot tournament days and drags a tube or a worm. He seems to catch all his bigger fish out deep. He does have live scope and the best electronics money can buy so it might not be as feasible for you. Love the tournament videos – keep them coming!
not a very good tourney for anyone looks like. There will be days like that, especially in summer.
For a tournament, that seems like a tough day. 9 pounds isn't much for a top scale.
