Catching PEACOCK BASS in Florida | Peacock Bass Fishing 4K

Peacock Bass Fishing in Florida

We flew to Miami on a whim and caught one of our bucket list species: PEACOCK BASS. Peacock bass fishing was an insane experience, and very different from regular bass fishing. Luckily, we had Monster Mike and Bryan the CEO to show us the ropes, including how to fish for peacock bass and some good peacock bass lures. We saw some huge peacock bass and Steve got his heart broken a couple times. But in the end, we all caught some nice peacocks, and Levi got himself a HUGE one. We will definitely be back to South Florida to do some more peacock bass fishing in the future! Peacock bass fishing in South Florida…new favorite thing!

  1. I love catching these things. They fight like a fish twice their size.
FYI though, keep your head on a swivel for the gators.
We have a rule here in Florida. If there’s water, there’s something in it that could eat you.

  2. Get you a baitcaster lmao tryna catch some heavy fighting game fish on a fairy wand 😂 no wonder you kept getting broke off what you got 10 pound test on that thing

  3. Peacock bass is a lot of fun six of us came up there for Father’s Day quite a few years ago and I caught 26 and a 6 1/2 pound win it was awesome your friend John Adams

  4. I've been wanting to do something exactly like this, but don't know where to start. After getting a car and a hotel, how did you decide where to go? Was it just a random bait store, or did you see it on Mike's channel and know where you were going to start? I really just want to do what you guys did and drive to canals and local ponds rather than spend $600 per day with a guide on a boat. Any ideas you can give would be appreciated.

  5. Hey Slab Dynasty! Awesome video! I'm actually in Fort Lauderdale now on vacation. Where specifically can I find those amazing peacock bass in Fort Lauderdale or Miami?
