Catching Big Iowa Bass in April!

Minnesota’s DNR is still in the Dark Ages and, unlike our neighbors in Wisconsin and Iowa, doesn’t allow any spring bass fishing until the opener in mid-May. So what’s an angler to do if you want to catch big, prespawn largemouth in April? Head south of the border! Mark and I venture into North Iowa and fish a little lake for some big beauties, including Mark’s personal best!
