CATCHING BASS ON SURFACE LURES IN WINTER | LURE FISHING FOR BASS

In this video, I decided to go on a last minute bass session and try out a new rod I bought recently. I’d start by fishing a mark I’ve fished many times before, although this time I’d be fishing a different part of the tide.

Things started a little slowly but as the tide flooded through, a few fish decided to show up. This video is all about bass and catching them on surface lures in the depths of winter. Thanks for watching and see you on the next one ๐ŸŽฃ

  1. A stiff rod is probably why you found those first 2 fish come off the hooks. No give in the rod which causes the hook holes to open up with thin treble hooks but great for setting large single hooks though. Enjoyed the video.

  2. Wowโ€ฆโ€ฆawesome stuff Cal. Iโ€™m not jealous one bit. ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ. (So not fair)
