Shore fishing at Selsey catching Bass on a windy rainy day with rough seas.
Managed to get my personal best from a beach.
Tactics used were two rods fished close in using drop down pulley rigs baited with fresh lug and ragworm.
Fished the tide up and all of us caught Bass.

Nice fish Paul you just never know what might turn up on a beach at Selsey. If coming to the area always worth asking in SAS whats being caught where due to tide and weather conditions. Hope your Op goes as planned on Monday๐ค

I know it will all go well tomorrow and hopefully be the last op you need. Glad to hear the "wire" reel is working, it always worked for me and caught me some good fish. Great catch Paul and thoroughly deserved. I too caught a similar size bass a couple of years ago after thinking like you I would never catch a decent fish. Well done.
