We went to our local lake to do some bass fishing but this time we went with the jon boat and she ended up catching her personal best! It’s the biggest bass I have seen come out of that lake!

I agree with the other comments, I think that bass was bigger than a 5 pounder. How about buying a new scale, or borrowing one of a higher quality, then weigh a 5 pound weight with both, if the new or borrowed scale reads more, then add that difference to the 5.14 pound reading for a more accurate weight of her PB.
I just got a new PB too. The day before yesterday. 7.1lbs. I live in central Florida. That spike it should work good in that dirtier water. I fish a lot of dirty water and love scents on my stuff.
