Just too help land as big as you can? My experiences with small & large mouth bass land locked in lakes has been by using golden or silver tinted rapala minnow lures with dark colored tops or backs. Single or jointed have both worked really well.For a live keeper,you can take the treble hooks off & put singles on the split rings instead.
