Any time I get the chance to go bass fishing, I will do so! During the summer when you are dealing with extreme temperatures it can be really difficult but bass can still be caught even in really hot weather.

There are 3 keys to fishing in the heat that I always look for. Sustained Shade, moving water or vegetation. The good thing is you don’t need fancy electronics in order to catch these bass!

  4. From the thumbnail I see your back in Florida. Last week couple feels like 108ยฐ days and saw water temps in the 90s. Mostly no bueno but caught a couple that didn't know where to hide. Tightlines!

  5. My local lake hit 95 degree in the summer with the thermalcline at 16 feet. I wish someone would talk about this odd lake. The docks are over fished and most fish just school in open water. It shaped like a plate to structure just grass.

  6. Iโ€™ll be studying the maps again to look for points that are perpendicular to the wind. Maybe Iโ€™ll be someplace where the other hints apply in the future.

  7. THANK YOU for acknowledging that we don't all have the fanciest electronics. I'm rocking a 1436 jon boat with a Garmin Striker 4. Hitting deep structure on big water just isn't an option for me. Great video, as always.

  9. Click bait. Thought you were fishing on the sun. ๐Ÿ˜† it certainly feels like we live in the sun here in Tennessee this summer. For real though, this is a great quick video on summer fishing. That tip about the lazy river is the best way to explain it Iโ€™ve heard.
