As more and more people turn away from traditional, organized religion, it’s time Christians embrace Jesus’s message of love and kindness to reach others for Christ with a servants heart, and be a living witness for Jesus. With over 50 years as a professional angler, and over 40 years on television with his show Jimmy Houston Outdoors, he has used his public platform to reach others for Christ. Jimmy Houston credits his years of success to his faithful walk with Christ and Devotion to the lord. He admits he struggles but works everyday to live for Jesus and become a better ambassador for Christ’s love.

That one hit home Jimmy. And it has happened. I know a guy who grew up in a home that never had a Bible. He broke the cycle of treachery and wickedness in his family to having his oldest child graduate from a Christian college. His children call him regularly and they preach to him about the Lord and all the great stuff he does in their lives. He said all he had to do is want it and the Lord made it happen.

Moses never knew he was destined to lead a pilgrimage to the promised land. David never knew he was destined to be a warrior and a king and a song writer in his lifetime. Noah never knew he was destined to build an ark and lead his family and all the animals away from the ravaging pouring waters that flooded the entire earth. That’s what makes God amazing is he can use anyone for his purpose and plan. We never know what God has in store for us. Something that could impact the least among many or those you never knew or whoever God puts in your path. It’s when we have that trust and faith against all the odds. A pregnant mother she knows she’s carrying something special. And every expert tells her you have so and so percent or this percent of expectancy. Yet she knows she’s carrying a blessing. It’s all in time. The right time. And God always knows the right time. He doesn’t do anything to hurt but to help us. It’s our job to put our best foot forward and say yes I trust you God. No matter what happens I trust you. And the rest is history from there. Good message from Jimmy today. God bless Jimmy and his family and God bless everyone else on this Monday morning. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Prayers for Israel and America and the rest of the world.
