Bass University TV’s on the water to show you casting, retrieve and trigger bass strikes when fishing the Carolina rig. Bass fishing tournament professional angler Pete Gluszek is fishing a tiny brush hog (http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Zoom_Tiny_Brush_Hog_15pk/descpage-ZTBH.html?from=butv) on the back of a 4′ leader Carolina Rig. He’s here to demonstrate how to fish this rig, starting with how to cast this awkward setup, which has a heavy weight, followed by a leader and a weightless soft plastic bait. If you’re having problems with backlash when casting a Carolina Rig, you’ll want to watch this video! It will help you make great trouble-free casts that don’t get tangled. Once you’re in the water, Pete talks about how to fish the rig and how to ensure you get a good hook set in the full video, available at https://bassu.tv You can watch this full 14-minute video, and 400+ other bass fishing videos from top tournament pros. They lassoed us into watching this video with their click bait d-bags
This video deserves all thumbs down. What a bunch or horse crap. 1 no actual secrets, 2 click bait title, 3 no actual video of him working the bait cause it went straight to the add. 4 I want my 5 minutes back, I wish I didn't bite. 5 you suck! Everyone have a good day. Happy fishing!
Can’t stand these past university videos. Thanks for wasting my time yet again. Every single one of their videos tells you everything except for how to fish something. Here’s a little hint, people watch these videos to see how you retrieve the bait. Not how you cast and every part of that lure and line. Anyone can figure those out
Cast the freaking rig dude
That cast only works when you are on TV in a nice bass boat by yourself talking to the camera….try that from shore with trees or cat tails around or a small boat with 2 people….
5 min of my life I’ll never get back. That was pointless
That leader is wayyyy to big, u only want a little bigger than a foot of a leader.
Ridiculous bullshit
I always use a spinning reel with Carolina rigs and I’ll use my bait caster for my Texas rig or crankbaits
The Pro’s don’t want me to know how to cast?
Just use a spinning reel problem solved!
Man, that’s just lame.
typical liberal lair.
That "lasso" technique sure wont work in an 8 foot bass boat with 2 people in it. I think I'll go for a nice long sideways cast.
You knuckle heads don't know a good cliff hanger when you see it, why would bass u have a subscription base if it gave away for FREE all the best tips they have??? Business tactic that works on more then it don't. The one tip he did give is worth the time spent watching this video seriously. Knowing how to cast is key. Some of you have stated that casting a c rig is same as every other bait, shows that you don't ever use long leaders on a c rig, sometimes that's what it takes. 12 inches to 2 ft ain't always the leader length you use. I've used up to 4 ft leader before. Probably longer, but I've never broke a tape out to check.
I dont think ive ever seen Pete lose his cool
wow five min i wont get back
Not what I wanted to hear but good tips. Lol just when you said what I wanted to see the video ends. Lol
Trash !! Click Bait !!
Well no shit, buddy
Click bait. Don’t watch.
This is a joke, right? Throwing a C-rig is no different than casting anything else, unlike what this video is saying.
How does rotating your wrist slow down the spool? Isn't it better to adjust your reel properly so you can make a long cast without it backlashing?
Sweet video!
This video had no c rig "fishing secrets". It's 5 minutes of how to avoid a (possible) backlash. This was CASTING HOW TO… not C rig FISHING.
