Canoes, Bumping Rocks, & Fishing! (Smallmouth Bass & Pickeral Catch)

Welcome back to One Blind Grandpa! Today, we are taking you along for a truly unforgettable day at the camp on Thibault Lake, Nova Scotia. OBG is teaming up with the grandkids for an epic canoe ride!

The adventure had a bit of a bumpy start (literally! Ouch!) after we navigated a little too close to some rocks. But you know you can’t keep a good grandpa or enthusiastic grandkids down for long! Once we made it out to the middle of the lake, Tyler got right to business with his fishing rod. You will not believe what he managed to pull in! First a beautiful small pickeral, and then a spunky smallmouth bass. The excitement was real!

Of course, no OBG adventure is complete without a little extra chaos at the end. Make sure to watch until the very finish when OBG brings the canoe back in… and has a hilarious (but harmless!) encounter with the pedal boat at the dock!

This entire day was filled with fun, endless laughs, and most importantly, making memories like this that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much for coming along with us. Enjoy the ride!
