Canoe fishing | Plagued by small bass

On a beautiful sunny day I take the canoe out on a small lake in hopes of catching some nice bass. There’s plenty of fish breaking the surface all around me. I fish the thick lily pads with weedless plastics and catch my fair share of bass. The problem is, every single one is small! That along with birds nests in my fishing line has me frustrated. Somedays are just like that.
