CAN DAIWA'S CHEAPEST REEL GO BASS FISHING ?? Mid North Coast NSW

Hi Everyone and welcome back to the channel , this one is another Bass Fishing video from a skinny creek somewhere..i decided to buy the cheapest reel that Daiwa make (Crossfire 4BS 2000D- $54) and see if it was up to the task of this kind of fishing .its a bit rough on the gear dragging kayaks up rapids and over rocks etc and stuff tends to get broken , 3 rods last season alone!! if you are on a tight budget or a young fisho without rich parents this does seem to do the job well, the only noticeable difference being there is a bit of slack in the handle which i sorted with a small plastic washer , other than that it can absolutely do the job and if it breaks , gets scratched up or dunked it hopefully wouldn’t be the end of the world for you…if you saw some of the gear i had to use as a kid you would be laughing your head off ..lol.let me know in the comments what gear you started off with or what you are currently starting off with , the main thing is to get out there and get amongst it regardless of what gear you have or haven’t !!
it was a quieter day than we have had of late but a few fish were still caught and the scenery was next level as always ,
