Calm Morning, Big Bites: Landing a 19.75” Bass From the Kayak!

Another calm, foggy morning out on the kayak chasing bass — and this one did not disappoint. The day started with a couple of tiny dinks, but the bite stayed steady, and before long a giant 19 ¾” bass crushed the drop shot right under a big school of bait on LiveScope.

I talk through the morning, break down the bites, get robbed a few times, miss a few hooksets, and finally stick the big one of the day — a beautiful 3.26 lb upgrade that made the whole trip worth it.
