  1. Hey Randy I’ve been trying to find the megabass sleeper gill ever since you told about it in a video a while back. Any advice where to order would be awesome

  2. I've noticed the smallmouth around here either love or hate anything chartreuse. Maybe even anything bright and obnoxious? I'm not sure yet. Throwing a Mepps Comet in chartreuse at the river I fish this summer in Canada and it always produces. Sunny days, cloudy days, faster moving stained water and slower moving clearer stuff. I usually burn it back relatively quick too as I noticed thats when my bites came.
I'll be sure to throw it this fall sometimes too and see if it still works for me or if it is just gonna be a warmer water type bait. The benefit of the river is that I can cast downstream and pause it where ever I want and just let the current work it. I've caught a few really nice ones this summer that I had a feeling were there but just wouldn't commit.

  3. Caught a 7lber on a chart trick worm just this past weekend – dirty water offshore around 8pm. Always a great source of info much appreciated Randy!

  4. I guess I have to try this on the Withlacoochie River & the Rainbow River over here in Marion County, FL. The water is ULTRA CLEAR & stays about 74 degrees all year long.

  5. Randy this was great info because nobody's is ever talking about chartreuse. Its definitely a great color that people are intimidated by so they dont even bother to fish it

  6. I've cought several 4 to 5 lbers in Florida with chartreuse flukes on the back of a blakemore Randy runner underspin 3/8 oz just trolling it off the back of the boat through key spots during the brightest parts of the day,in clear water empoun dments, where there is only offshore grasses, and sand bottom that makes the lure stand out better. I also have special.ones that are uv glow chartreuse, that I'd use,or pearl white, but the jig head is chartreuse. So those all worked well for me. Fan casting after I trolled around and found the magic spots. Thx Randy! 👍.
