  1. I'll always remember the smell and sound of heavy rain on a calm lake in the Boundary Waters. The smell of the fire in the cabin where we dried out and waited to eat was just as good. The lodge was owned by a family that had kids that were exactly our ages. The one that was my age was a very pretty girl. Her name was Peggy. Ha! You never know that you're having the best time of your life when you're that young. I remember it often when I'm falling asleep. After long consideration, the only thing I'd change is that I'd want all of my dogs there with us. Thanks for the video. I'll be watching it again.

  2. love the videos man , i lived in MN for 20+ yrs and fished the BWCA more times than i can count , area wouldnt be around big sag would it on the gunflint trail ?

  3. Hey Matt, if you donโ€™t mind sharing what lake/entry point. Been up there a couple times but fishing was slow. As always, thanks for sharing.

  4. Both of these videos were simply amazing; overall the best content that I've ever seen on this channel. Having said that, please, let me say this. The scenery alone should be a clear reminder to anyone who watches these videos in the future: "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that people are without excuse" [Romans 1 v20]

  5. Hello sir, really enjoy you videos, I've been to the boundary waters 4 times, I've fished the upper and lower Kiwishiwi river, my son and I are coming up from Ohio in sept, what area are you fishing in this video? I'm looking to explore a new area.

  7. Hi Matt another big fan here. Did you fry one up? I remember about 40 years ago when I went to the Boundary Waters we ate a few and they were awesome. I am mostly a catch and release guy but I don't see anything wrong with enjoying 1 for dinner with your pal. Peace
