Bonafide XTR130 Fishing Cedar Lake | ChatterBait Bass

Early fall kayak fishing at Cedar Lake did not disappoint! The fishing was decent, the weather was perfect, and we were blessed with an absolutely beautiful fall day on the water.

The MiniMax ChatterBait was the star of the day and produced some solid fish. Paired with the Yakrods BFS setup, it made for a fun day of hauling them in.

For the kayak, we were running the Bonafide XTR130, powered by a MotorGuide Xi3 up front and a Newport NK300 in the back. That combination made it easy to cover water, hold position, and get where we needed to be.

The fish cooperated enough to keep things interesting, but honestly, just being on Cedar Lake with the early fall colors starting to show made the trip worth it. God gave us a beautiful day to enjoy His creation, catch a few fish, and spend some time on the water.
