Boat Ramp Bass?! Unexpected Catch at Dark | Huntsville Texas Fishing

Ever caught a bass right off the boat ramp? That’s how my evening ended at Huntsville State Park. I was out for some after-work fishing therapy, and the bite was so good! The bass were active in the lily pads, and just before sunset, I pulled a solid fish from some thick cover.

The real surprise was catching a bass right at the ramp as it got dark. This lake is known for gators; you never quite know what you’ll get after sunset.
