In the 1980’s there was a ring of anglers who worked together as a group to scam $350,000.00 dollars from a Texas bass fishing tournament. From poaching, theft, animal abuse and possible homicide, this infamous bass fishing cheating ring was busted and 5 were went to prison. And it’s a story not many anglers know about.
